Poppit
Sands is a large beach at the mouth of the River Teifi estuary
and is the spot where the start of the Pembrokeshire National
Coastal Path Walk is marked. There
is a shop located by the beach car park where you can get
icecreams, pasties and beach toys
There is also a public loo thats always kept
nice and clean and is located right next to the RNLI building,
who train on the beach twice a week.
The beach is very gently sloping so the sea is shallow however
the tides are rapid. This is due to the estuary, there are
unpredictable currents and bathing is not always safe.
