One
place to visit, especially if you have young children, is
Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park which is located on the
mainland by Cardigan Island (you can see Cardigan Island over
the estuary from our campsite and the farm park). Visitors
to the Farm Park can not only see a whole host of wildlife
around the island and coastline like seals, dolphins and rare
birds but can also enjoy visiting and engaging with many of
the animals on the farm which include pigs, donkeys, goats,
rabbits, welsh mountain ponies, shetland ponies and rare breeds
of cattle. Some more animals on the farm are slightly more
unusual to the area and include Australian wallabies, Vietnamese
pigs and piglets, emus, rhea and a llama called Llinos.
Kids at the Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park can also enjoy
the adventure playground and sand pit while you enjoy kicking
back in the picnic area with your food.
